AGE CRITERIA
​MISS
At least 18 by September 1, 2026 and no older than 28 on September 30, 2026.
TEEN
At least 14 by September 1, 2026 and no older than 18 on September 30, 2026.
Contestant age 18 may choose between Teen and Miss but cannot switch divisions once she has competed.*
Teen Age Criteria Additional Notes:
*Miss America allows for 18-year-old contestants to have a ‘pivot’ year to decide whether they would like to compete in the Teen or Miss divisions. Once you select your age division, you may not change divisions.
